This is a revamp of an older picture with =hyperwires fursona, Ellone. I still love Ellone’s design and even more so now with this revamp. I was actually suppose to work on my part of an art trade with ~Coyotefeather90 but, when I started sketching Ellone.. I sorta got carried away while listening to my sister and her friends have their music jam session; which I thought sounded pretty good and thus fueled me to finish this picture.

This version actually has a good background I know I’m proud of, Ellone is suppose to be sitting on top of some green algae covered rocks and gritty sand with the coastal shore line barely reaching her with shallow waves and pools of sea water and maybe little sea creature after I edit/paint them in digitally. I figured a good looking anthro woman and the remembrance of those summer days would help bring back good memories, smiles and cures to those who have been stuck in their homes from the frigid weather this season.

Please don’t remind me about the errors in this picture, yes, I see them and frankly I’m very pleased with my work. Also I’d like to add that I can’t remember the last time I picked up a pencil to draw a character. So the picture is really quite nice considering the amount of time since I last drew a creature traditionally, I’m very happy. Oh and I tried something little different this time while I was drawing her fur and hair, and I will be using this new technique for the rest of my character drawings in the future.

Noelle, I’m sorry for taking down the picture I drew for you back in 2008, I promised you a better picture with a good background and so, here you have it. I’ll be doing another version of this picture that will be painted and have a few little critters lying around Ellone so she’s not alone. I hope you like the picture, I do.

Time: 5 hours from 4-9pm
Tools: 0.5 mechanical pencil, plastic and kneadable eraser.

I was wondering about the older version...lol When I saw this one, I went to go look at that one, but couldn't find it.

Well, I like this one. I love the way her hair falls around her face and I really like her ears. You're really skilled at drawing hands and feet, too. I can never get those right, though I don't tend to draw humans or anthros. xD Paws are my thing.

Anyways, I can't wait to see the finished piece.

Sorry for the late response. The original picture was deleted as well as my previous account. This picture is here to stay... unless you want a copy to keep for yourself, I'll let you decide.

The design of the ears and hair was my focus for 2011, seems like it all worked out. I could never really draw paws and animal bodies right either. Anthro/anime is my thing. XD

I've been going back and forth on the painted version. It's looks good but still missing a few things.
