Day 34: Hollow

Care Taker 1:
*Stares at the girl by the window*
"You know, I can't even imagine what it must feel like to wake up for one day every five years from stasis and then have to go back to sleep..."

Care Taker 2:
*Looks at the girl...*
"You know what I think is worse? Them seeing us like this every time they wake up..."

Care Taker 1:
*Looks at herself through the chrome plated door and sighs*
"I know... still you can't help but wonder if they'll accept us or reject us when we arrive to Mariin. I can smell their fear even though they try to hide it with a smile, I know their hurting inside..."

Care Taker 2:
*Looks at the girl by the window*
"What about her? She's been following you all day..."

Care Taker 1:
*Sigh, that girl is my niece... she lost her parents before we left Earth and I've been caring for her since. She wants to join the crew but Micheal said no."

Care Taker 2:
"... Oh."
*deep sigh*

Care Taker 1:
"Yeah..."
*Looks at her watch...*
"Hmp, my break is over... Cera, Lets Go!"

Care Taker 2:
"Take care on your rounds!
I'll talk to you later!"
