Take.My.Hand

Featuring Cera to the left and Zeal on the right. They're using their DriveFrame's to god knows where. I honestly don't know where they're going, they wouldn't tell me, and I'm there Father; I should know where my kids are going at the least! One of the added benefits of owning a DriveFrame, is it's ability to levitate and maneuver effortlessly through the air with the help of Mariinian ingenuity and Human kind's technical support.

Decided to refine the details of the line art... I'm done trying to sketch digitally, doesn't feel normal at all. So I'm using the pen tool, 3 px for all the major lines and 1 px for the details. Zeal's suit is partially done... maybe I can finish this tomorrow.

UPDATE March 27th, 2013 - I re-drew Cera's head, the first design made her look old... like 50+ years old. Refined some technical issues within the two suit designs, added more detail in there fur and tweaked my line art style a bit. The picture is pretty big so, don't hurt yourself now. I was experimenting with color swatches for both characters before I stopped. Just doing the line art took most of the day... my butt and feet were numb. XD The line art portion of this picture is now complete... I still feel like Cera's eye's are a little far apart, do you think so too? And should I draw in Zeal's eyes under his hair like I did with Cera?

I need your help boy's and girls. I've been trying to give this picture more life but, I'm torn between an urban or a rural background with strong light sources in varying hues, saturation's and lightness'; built around something unique and full of "awe". I have a couple idea's, although I seem to be balling them up and tossing them aside because I'm not satisfied with how everything looks. I'll be updating this picture with some minor changes in the line art. Oh and Cera and Zeal are atop the Sky Deck, which is over looking the Speed Ways (Highways). If you could suggest any idea's to the perimeters I'm asking... I will seriously take them in to consideration!
