UPDATE I'm sure you're wondering if the stuff I wrote is real or made up. The truth is a lot of the things I wrote are in fact real. Especially the hubless wheel concept, people have been designing idea's and some have actually tried to make them. Although they're not as fuel efficient as a regular motorcycle, you gotta admit.. they do look cool though.
My design is a luxury, two person, two wheeled, electric motorcycle with a vast array of concept abet realistic ergonomic features, navigational instruments and functions. I didn't write it but the space inside the wheels can be used as a form of trunk with the correctly installed portable container.
Anyway, I just wanted to make this because I had over 200 sketches of concepts and they needed to be put together as one design and because I thought it would be fun.
-- A piece of crap illustration of a concept I've been working on since 2006. The entire bike was hand drawn, no help from CAD programs and I gotta tell you picking various concept idea's and mashing them into one design is freakin' hard!
I'm exhausted, been working on this since 8am... *sigh* I hope you like the design... still needs more work *head desk* Zzzz ~Zeal
O,O im just gonna....wow! wow!....i cannot express how amazed i am at this! you sir have some real talent. im not sure i understand what your saying in the description. what exactly DIDN'T you make? the concept is surely yours. its brilliant and truly amazing! the only thing i see being a problem is what about the underside of the vehicle? the spaces where the handles are, you can see inside of the vehicle but would there normally be the green glass there as well? or is it open? if its open, not a good idea. debris from the road would surely fly into those spaces and could potentially harm the occupants. still a very amazing concept. the only thing i think it remotely resembles is the Auto Bug E. but only in the sense that they would be shaped similar, they in no way look the same!
This motorcycle is one possible design out of eleven others... well, nine others because the last two are about as big as a Kia Forte 5-door hatch-back but, still able to transport 5 people, driver included; with space for luggage.. FTW <o< @w@ although I wouldn't consider them motorcycles anymore. :3
The designs of these bikes came from a number of once popular anime series (ex. Akira, Yukikaze) as well as various real-world industrial advancements (ex. voice recognition, holographic heads-up displays) and vehicle concepts from various motor companies. I've been researching all their discoveries, taking detailed notes and drafting simple diagrams of what works as well as their benefits and disadvantages. I have a lot of interesting idea's in my 200+ sketches that people would fight over, some are my own idea's that were branched off and improved from others idea's; it's pretty neat.
As far is the external design goes... yes there could be a lower section of the canopy encasing and protecting the riders from potential harm from road debris but, I found it exceedingly difficult to place mechanically; I wasn't just drawing a bike... I was also figuring out the mechanics behind the design too. I figure that's a step concept vehicle artist skip over that I'd like to go beyond, now I know why they skip that part but, I like doing it anyway... I believe it challenges you to think of the possibilities. *shrug* To put it in layman's terms, I just left the lower glass part out.
Also you asked about the canopies color tint, I simply used a green color because it was complimenting the blue and grey color scheme of the bikes body. The glass' color can be changed into any color, doesn't really matter what color it is but, I thought it looked pleasing to me.
I have seen the Auto Bug E., a strange design for a EV-bike but it does have some similarities to my design, and like you said they are in no way the same. :3
